Monir Hossain

- Monir Hossain is a highly experienced data management professional with more than 15 years of hands-on expertise in data processing, database management, coding, data entry, data cleaning, analysis, and reporting. He has worked across a wide range of quantitative research projects, including both CAPI and PAPI studies, and has managed data for more than a thousand projects over the course of his career.

- He is skilled in data structure design, SPSS and MS Excel analysis, Kobo Toolbox-based survey programming for CAPI studies, and Microsoft FoxPro-based data entry system development for PAPI studies. He also has strong experience handling large datasets of over 150,000 samples, supervising in-house data entry teams, and supporting the training and capacity building of field interviewers.

- Over the years, Monir has contributed to major research and evaluation studies for leading organizations including Save the Children, BRAC, ADBI, SMC, and many other research agencies and development partners. His long professional journey includes full-time roles at The Nielsen Company Bangladesh and ACNielsen Bangladesh, where he held several data management positions of increasing responsibility.
