Role Description
This is an on-site full-time role located in Bangladesh for an Assistant Manager – Domestic Fieldwork Operations. The Assistant Manager will be tasked with planning and overseeing fieldwork operations, managing diverse teams of field researchers and supervisors, and ensuring all data collection activities meet quality and timelines. Responsibilities include liaising with clients, overseeing recruitment and training, managing logistics, ensuring compliance with research protocols, and implementing quality checks. The role requires meticulous coordination to support the successful execution of quantitative and qualitative research projects.
Qualifications & Key Responsibilities
- Project management and team supervision skills to oversee field researchers, supervisors, and logistical operations.
- Proficiency in both quantitative research techniques (CAPI, CATI, CAWI, online panels) and qualitative research methods (FGDs, IDIs, HUTs, ethnographies).
- Strong analytical skills for quality checks, data verification, and adherence to research protocols.
- Effective communication skills for client management, report preparation, and team collaboration.
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while ensuring accuracy in deliverables.
- Familiarity with market research and, social research and NGO/donor studies in addition to commercial market research is a plus.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in any relevant discipline
- Proficiency in MS Office, project management tools, and relevant research software.
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within tight timelines and travel to anywhere in bangladesh
